The main rule of thumb with using video in your application is to ensure you plan ahead and fully embrace the challenge, this will ease any nerves or fears you may have; always remember that you can re-take your video as many times as you need to, and it is a great opportunity to show the recruiter how strong a candidate you are.
Once you know what your video needs to be focused on, then you can prepare your ‘script’, organise your recording platform (phone/tablet/PC), and let everyone know when you are going to be recording so they don’t disturb you! Then just hit the ‘record’ button and be yourself…
